HISTELCON'2010 is co-organized by the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), the Spanish Association of Telecommunication Engineers (AEIT), and the Technical University of Madrid (UPM).

The IEEE History Center, the IEEE Region 8 History Council, and the IEEE Spain Section are also involved on that.

It has the support of Fundación Telefónica, the foundation of the leading telecommunications operator in the Spanish and Portuguese speaking world and collaborates in it:

The official language of the Conference will be English (including lectures and printed material).
All papers will be reviewed for presentation.
All presented papers will be included in the Conference Proceedings and in IEEE Explore
For each presented paper, one presenter will have to fully register to the Conference.
The Conference will be transmited live worldwide via the Internet.
